Bag Filter (Baghouse Filter)
A Bag Filter, also known as a Baghouse, is an air pollution control device that removes dust particles from industrial exhaust or process air using filter bags made from woven or felted fabric.
What is a Bag Filter?
A Bag Filter is a dry filtration system where dirty air is passed through filter bags that trap fine particles. Clean air exits the bag, while dust is collected on the outer surface of the filter media and periodically removed by mechanical shaking, reverse air, or pulse jet cleaning.
