Stainless steel filters cartridges are the perfect choice for high temperature and high viscosity applications. Manufactured using a sintered woven wire mesh/ Powder media with a higher voids volume. We use sintered (welded at the intersection) wire mesh /Powder as a standard which produces an extremely strong porous material whose fibres will not shift under stress and whose pore size integrity is continually maintained. The mesh diameter is optimized to give higher open area per unit area resulting in higher dirt holding capacity.
Produced with SS 304L or SS 316L sintered media offers excellent reliability for critical applications. Produced in three distinct categories for extended cartridge life and more dirt holding capacity. All welded construction gives cartridges highest mechanical strength. The cartridges are designed for cleanable and reusable applications thereby eliminating frequent cartridge change out. Optional pleat protector available to prevent denting and damage to the pleated surface.
Construction Of Sintered Material
The composite fiber material is sintered together with a wire mesh under vacuum conditions and rolled to form mats of a specific thickness. Stainless steel cartridges can be wrought into tubes, cartridges or disks, plain, pleated or according to customer requests.
